1964
A basement and a new idea
It’s 1964. Paolo Montesi, a young man from the Romagna countryside with a passion for mechanics and motorcycles, is working at a car repair shop. However, Paolo has a bigger ambition: to start a turning shop. With the support of his wife and the determination of his entrepreneurial spirit, he sets up his business independently. The first investments are used to purchase the first lathes and equipment. After a few years, a larger space is needed to accommodate them, so he builds a workshop next to his house.
The entrance sign reads: Torneria Automatica Artigiana.
